Version 3.07.00 - ROI, Alleva Echo and Billing Updates
Improved ROI Security & Compliance –– ROI forms can no longer be edited after a client has signed them. If changes are needed, the updated workflow is to revoke the existing ROI and create a new one for the client to sign. This ensures compliance and protects client consent. Editable Echo Interpretive Summary in Intakes –– The Echo Interpretive Summary is now editable directly within the intake. Previously, edits had to be made in the Alleva Echo window before sending it to the intake. You now have the added flexibility to edit the summary after it has been sent to the intake from Echo.
Enhanced Authorization Details –– Authorizations now support more detailed data entry. You can select a primary diagnosis specific to each authorization (independent of the chart’s primary diagnosis), choose a Benefit Type (Behavioral Health or Medical Health), and, optionally, specify an applicable appointment types. If the authorization applies to daily services rather than sessions, you can select Daily Drop. These updates will support carved-out insurance benefits and upcoming Alleva Billing enhancements.
Company-Level Billing Code Master –– Revenue Codes, Service Codes, and Modifiers in the RCM Billing settings Code Master tab are now managed at the company level instead of by facility or location. This change supports future advanced claim settings currently in development.
Billing Code Classifications –– As part of our ongoing efforts to support carved-out billing benefits within billing rules and the ETT feature, billing codes must now be classified as Behavioral or Medical. This selection is required when adding a new billing code in Billing Settings within the EMR and will help ensure accurate billing configuration moving forward.
