Alleva Release Notes – July 5, 2019

Below is a list of items that have been released over the last week. Also, we would like to make you aware that we are in the midst of a performance upgrade throughout the entire Alleva application. We are replacing Entity Framework with a new object-relational mapper. Over the next 3-4 weeks, you will see a significant improvement in the overall speed of the application.

Updates to vitals- We’ve made a couple of changes to the way vitals now work in the system:

You no longer have to fill out all fields to save vitals. As long as you fill out one section, it will allow you to save. This has been applied from the Client Chart, Medical Intake, and Medication Management.
We have removed the BMI result that shows when adding vitals. Previously it would highlight whether a client was over or underweight. However, many facilities are showing the vitals screen to their clients while adding in that information. We still show the result in the vital history, but will no longer show the result on the vitals modal.

Diagnosis Search - A few months ago we switched the way to search by Diagnosis. The change allowed you to search by Dx code first and work your way to the Problem Name. This caused some confusion since the search limited you to the correct F-code. We have updated the search so now you have the ability to search by any combo of letters in the Dx code search field. In the screenshot below you will see that I typed in ssive and it pulled back all options with that combo of letters.

Multi-select of Primary Clinician - We now allow you to select multiple clinicians on a client’s chart. If selected, clinicians will be able to filter by their My Client filter to see just their specific clients.
