How to create a custom treatment plan template to speed up the creation process and standardize treatment plans to fit your needs.
MTP Templates function similarly to Wiley Treatment Plans in that they are pre-built and are a starting point for a new treatment plan. Once created, they can be customized on a per-client basis. Here are the two ways to create a new custom TP Template:
Option #1 Save as you go
1. Navigate to a client chart > Treatment Plan. Add a new treatment plan for the client (through any of the options: Wiley, Custom, etc.).
2. Create the treatment plan for the client with all goals, objectives, etc.. This will become the MTP Template that you save for future clients.
3. Once everything has been filled out, select "Save TP With Template". Then enter a name for the new template.
4. To use the new TP template for another client, navigate to their treatment plan screen, click "Add Office TP", then select the template from the list.
NOTE: You are only able to create an MTP template when first creating the treatment plan, not when editing an existing treatment plan. You can edit a template via System Settings (see below).
Option #2 - Create from Settings
1. Users with access to System Settings (controlled by admins via Company Settings > Role Management), can go to System Settings > MTP Templates and select "Add New" in the upper right corner.
2. Enter in all fields, including Behavioral Definition, Goals, Objectives, and Interventions. The template should be based upon a specific presenting problem or a specific "tract" in treatment, whatever is applicable to your program. Keep in mind that you can provide several options for each section that can then be selected from when customizing the template for a specific client.
3. When completed, click "Save" and enter a name for the template.
4. To use the new template for a client, navigate to the Treatment Plan screen in the client's chart and select "Add Office TP". Then select the newly created template and click "Ok".
5. Customize the treatment plan to make it client-specific. Editing on a client basis will not change the template.
