Echo Template Builder: Therapeutic and Medical Note Designations - Alleva Echo's Note Template Builder now includes the ability to designate a template as either Therapeutic or Medical during the template building process. This designation gives the AI the context it needs to generate more relevant, accurate note content aligned with the note's specific clinical purpose. Admins can access Echo templates anytime by navigating to System Settings > Templates, selecting Echo from the dropdown, and editing a template to set the designation from the dropdown in the upper right corner. Contract Rate Support in Alleva Billing - Alleva Billing now supports contract rates across the billing workflow. A Contract Rate field has been added to the encounter editor in Service Management alongside the existing Charge Per Unit field, with both rates flowing automatically from ETT into Service Management and Claims Management. A new "Use Contract Rates" toggle in Insurance Billing Settings allows billers to configure specific payers to bill using the contract rate as the submitted amount. When a billing rule's rates are updated in the EMR, all unsubmitted encounters, services, and claims update automatically to reflect the change.
AR Aging Summary Dashboard Updates - The AR Aging Summary Dashboard now includes a toggle allowing billers to switch between AR Gross (billed amounts) and AR Net (contract rate amounts). Metric indicator cards for Unbilled AR, Billed AR, Total AR, and Over 90 Days AR dynamically recalculate in real time based on the selected view, keeping all summary figures aligned with the data perspective in use.
Void Claim Now Correctly Removes AR Balance - An issue has been resolved where voiding a claim was not removing the associated balance from the AR dashboard or refreshing the patient's outstanding balance. Voided claims now correctly clear open AR and update the patient balance as expected, ensuring billing data stays accurate following a void action.
