First, make sure your medication isn't listed in our database. Navigate to the medication screen on any client chart and search by the name of the medication, as well as any generic names for the medication.
If you don't see it, here is how you can easily add it to the drop down moving forward:
1. Navigate to System Settings > Orders > Custom Medication.
2. Enter the custom medication name, strength, units, form, and route and click "Save".
3. The new custom medication will be available in the medication drop down in all client charts and doctors orders moving forward.
NOTE: When adding from the medication screen or Doctors Orders, you will see [custom] next to any custom medications in the dropdown. See example below.
